1NFER — one-file Python agent and automatic OpenCode setup Python 3.10+ is required. No pip, Node.js or manual config for these helpers. Download the .py file, inspect it/check its SHA256, open a terminal in your project. Windows: py 1nfer-agent.py macOS/Linux: python3 1nfer-agent.py Paste your saved 1NFER API key at the hidden prompt, then enter a short task. An existing funded account is required: create/save/register/fund at https://1nfer.net/. The script cannot create a spending wallet or pay from it. Minimal agent - The key remains in process memory; never pass it as a command-line option. - Default tool model: claude-sonnet-4-6. No silent fallback. Sonnet5 browser chat is unchanged. - Each proposed shell command requires y; Enter refuses. Output is sent back to the API. - Never approve commands that read wallet files, .env, private keys or other confidential data. - At most three paid requests/task; conservative default request-estimate cap $0.10. --budget 0.03 sets a smaller cap; --check only reads account/models, without generation. - One task has bounded context. Start another task when the context/step limit is reached. - An uncertain request stops without retry. A command is never run after a failed request. - Shell is POSIX sh on macOS/Linux and PowerShell on Windows. Commands run in the current directory. - Output is clipped; API-key patterns and the active key are redacted. This is not a sandbox and cannot detect all other secrets. Only approve commands you understand. OpenCode Windows: py setup-opencode.py macOS/Linux: python3 setup-opencode.py The helper uses installed OpenCode, or installs official OpenCode1.18.34 user-locally from its platform npm package (Windows/macOS/Linux x64/arm64). SHA512 verified before extraction. No npm/Node dependency; no shell installer; no administrator permission required. Paste your saved API key; OpenCode opens with the provider/model already selected. A separate ~/.config/1nfer/opencode.json contains an environment placeholder, not your key. Existing project/global configs are preserved. Runtime override pins our endpoint/model and ask-permission policy. The key is passed to the child process environment, not argv. OpenCode itself and the operating system may have their own logging/crash handling. --configure-only writes a secret-free profile without installation or key entry. --no-install only uses an existing OpenCode installation. Full Windows/macOS runtime and long autonomous OpenCode sessions are not verified by us. Provider-declared input is1M tokens (Opus5.5:200k), output maximum128k/default1024, HTTP body16MiB. Full windows have not been load-tested. No vision/Responses. The mini agent limits output256 and keeps its explicit task budget; OpenCode profile output8192. Use short tasks. Agent command permission does not make requests free; keep a budget.
